▶ 연구의 목적 ● 경제산업관련 연구기관 및 협회에서 산업별 전망작업을 수행하고 그 결과를 정기적으로 발표하고 있으나, 반도체, 자동차, 건설 등 주요 산업 이외의 전망자료는 부족한 편. 주요 산업을 제외하고 전망작업이 활발히 이루어지 않는 이유는 자료획득의 어려움 때문 ● 본 연구에서는 산업연관표의 산업간 생산유발효과를 이용하여 경제 전체와 대응하는 산업에 대한 2008년 전망작업을 수행하고 그 결과를 바탕으로 산업별 경기를 분석하는 것을 목적으로 함. 또한 산업별 경기분석과 더불어 취업자를 전망함으로써 각 산업의 고용효과를 전망함 ▶ 산업별 경기 및 고용분석 ● 산업별 성장성 분석결과 2008년 성장세가 상승할 것으로 전망되는 산업은 제1차금속, 일반기계, 수송장비, 공공행정 및 국방, 교육보건 등임. 그리고 인쇄출판복제, 전기전자기기, 도소매, 음식점 및 숙박, 금융보험 등은 2008년 성장세가 소폭 상승할 것으로 전망됨. 그러나 목재종이제품, 석유석탄제품, 화학제품, 비금속광물, 전력가스 및 수도, 건설, 운수보관 등의 산업은 성장세가 소폭 둔화될 것으로 예상되며, 농림수산품, 음식료품, 섬유가죽제품, 가구기타제조업 등은 성장성이 둔화될 것으로 전망. 그 외에 금속제품, 통신방송, 부동산사업서비스, 사회기타서비스 산업은 성장성에 큰 변화가 없을 것으로 예상됨 ● 산업별 수익성 분석결과 2008년도 수익성이 소폭 상승할 것으로 전망되는 산업은 일반기계, 금융보험, 부동산사업서비스 등이었으며, 수익성이 크게 상승할 것으로 예상되는 산업은 없는 것으로 전망됨. 섬유가죽제품, 목재종이제품, 비금속광물, 가구기타제조업, 전력가스 및 수도 등의 산업은 수익성이 소폭 둔화될 것으로 예상되며, 농림수산업은 수익성이 크게 둔화될 것으로 전망됨. 그 외에 음식료품, 인쇄출판복제, 석유석탄제품, 화학제품, 제1차금속, 금속제품, 전기전자기기, 정밀기기, 수송장비, 건설, 도소매, 음식점 및 숙박, 운수보관, 통신방송, 공공행정 및 국방, 교육보건, 사회기타서비스 등의 산업은 수익성이 유지될 것으로 전망 ● 산업별 성장성과 수익성을 종합적으로 검토한 결과 2008년 산업경기가 상승할 것으로 예상되는 산업은 일반기계산업이며, 소폭 상승할 것으로 예상되는 산업은 제1차금속, 정밀기기, 수송장비, 금융보험, 공공행정 및 국방, 교육보건 등임. 반면에, 2008년 산업경기가 둔화될 것으로 예상되는 산업은 농림수산품, 가구기타제조업이며, 산업경기가 소폭 둔화될 것으로 예상되는 산업은 음식료업, 섬유가죽제품, 목재종이제품, 비금속광물, 전력가스 및 수도임 ● 산업별 총생산량의 증감률을 기준으로 산업별 취업인원을 추정한 결과 일반기계, 공공행정 및 국방, 교육 및 보건, 사회 및 기타서비스산업의 취업비중이 증가할 것으로 예상되는 반면에, 음식료업, 섬유가죽제품, 전기전자기기, 가구 및 기타제조업, 건설, 운수 및 보관의 취업비중은 소폭 낮아질 것으로 전망되며, 특히 농림수산업의 취업비중은 크게 낮아질 전망 ▶ 리스크 검토 ● 산업연관표를 이용한 산업별 성장성 및 수익성을 검토한 결과 농림수산업, 음식료업, 섬유가죽제품, 목재종이제품, 비금속광물, 가구기타제조업, 전력가스및수도 산업의 경우 성장성 또는 수익성의 둔화가 예상되며, 그에 따라 산업의 투자 리스크는 높아질 것으로 예상됨. 따라서 이들 산업에 신규 대출을 하거나 직접 투자를 할 경우 리스크 관리에 집중해야 할 것으로 판단됨

▶ Purpose of study ● Economic and industry research institutions forecast each industry's business cycle and the results are published regularly. However, with the exception for major industries such as semiconductor, automobile and construction, outlooks for most of industries are not available because information about those industries is insufficient. ● The purpose of this study is to forecast industry business cycles for 2008 as well as employment effect in each industry on the whole economic sectors using the production inducement effects in inter-industry analysis table. ▶ Analysis of industry business cycles and employment ● 2008 industry growth analysis: The industries of which growth rates are expected to rise include '1st metal', 'general machinery', 'transport equipment', 'public administration and defense', and lastly 'education and health'. The industries of which growth rates are expected to grow relatively slightly are; 'printing, publication and replication', 'electric and electronic equipment', 'wholesale and retail', 'restaurants and lodging', and 'finance and insurance'. But growth rates of 'wood and paper', 'petroleum and coal products', 'chemicals', 'non-metallic minerals', 'electric, power, gas and waterworks', 'construction', and 'transportation and storehouse' are expected to slow down slightly. Growth rates of 'agriculture and fisheries', 'food', 'textile and leather' and 'furniture and other products' are forecast to slow down. ● 2008 industry profitability analysis: Industries whose profitability is expected to grow a little are 'general machinery', 'finance and insurance' and 'real estate and business services'. There is no industry whose profitability is expected to rise. Growth rates of 'textile and leather', 'wood and paper', 'non-metallic minerals', 'furniture and other products' and 'electric power, gas and waterworks' are expected to slow slightly. Especially, profitability of the agriculture and fisheries industry is forecast to slow down considerably. ● 2008 industry business cycle analysis: Business cycle of general machinery industry is expected to rise. The industries of which profitability is expected to improve slightly are '1st metal', 'precision instruments', 'transportation equipment', 'finance and insurance', 'public administration and defense', and 'education and health'. Conversely, business cycles of 'agriculture and fisheries' and 'furniture and other products' sectors are expected to slow. Business cycles of 'food', 'textile and leather', 'wood and paper', 'non-metallic minerals', and 'electric power, gas and waterworks' are expected to slow down only slightly. ● 2008 industry employment outlook: Employment in 'general machinery', 'public adminstration and defense', 'education and health', and 'other social services' are expected to grow. However, employment in 'food', 'textile and leather', 'electric and electronic equipment', 'furniture and other products', 'construction', and 'transportation and storehouse' are expected to decline. ▶ Industrial Risk Analysis
